Guest Author Visits

My author visits are designed especially for young learners and focus on building excitement around reading while reinforcing positive character traits like kindness, empathy, and sharing.

During my visit, I typically:

Read Puddles and The Power of Sharing aloud with expression and student participation

Talk about how I came up with the idea for the story

Explain, in kid-friendly language, how a book is created—from an idea to a finished copy

Discuss growing up differently and answer questions about Autism.

Answer students’ questions about being an author

My goal is to spark imagination, encourage a love of books, and help children see that their own ideas and stories matter.

I am happy to provide signed copies of my book for students. Families can pre-order books ahead of time, and I will personally autograph each copy during my visit. I can also personalize each signature with the child’s name to make their book even more special.

Presentations are typically 20-30 minutes to match K–2 attention spans, and I am flexible with scheduling. I would be glad to coordinate with your school staff or PTO to ensure a smooth and enjoyable event.
